I graduated from Marywood University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After graduation, I became a Dietetic Technician. I completed my dietetic internship through Marywood University’s Distance Internship program, focusing on health promotion and wellness. I am an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and New Jersey’s Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Growing up, I wanted to become a personal trainer to help people adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors and overall wellness. I’ve always had a love and passion for food. I enjoy eating a wide variety of foods and cuisines. After hearing a dietitian speak at lacrosse camp, I decided to pursue a career in nutrition to incorporate my interest in healthy lifestyles and behaviors, overall wellness, and food.
I started my career as a Dietetic Technician at Center for Discovery in Paramus, NJ. After passing my RD exam, I became one of the RDs at Center for Discovery. While at Center for Discovery, I found that many people did not have a healthy relationship with food, fearing they would gain weight and intentionally restrict foods they enjoy. I believe in helping people heal their relationship with food and body through intuitive eating and mindful eating.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I love relaxing at the beach, playing tennis with my friends, and trying new restaurants.
