I graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelors of science in nutrition and dietetics. After this I completed my dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. During this internship I worked with a variety of patients both in the hospital and in various outpatient clinics as well as out in the community. I have since spent my nutrition career continuing to focus on helping people reach their nutrition goals.
I became interested in nutrition at a young age. I was on and off countless diets as a young adolescent and then sought help from a dietitian. The biggest lesson I have learned on my personal journey is to be kind to yourself and learn to focus on overall health and happiness and not a number on a scale. When in session I want to help my clients to not only focus on health but also find happiness from within when it comes to relationships with food and your body.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love baking, singing, seeing live theatre, traveling to explore new places and of course trying the local cuisine!
